The American Chamber of Commerce of Jamaica (AMCHAM Jamaica) is aiming to boost membership to record levels this year, primarily through its new Loyalty Rewards Programme for chamber members and guests.
The “new and exciting” programme was launched, at AMCHAM’s Business and Civic Leadership Awards for Excellence 2013 Gala held recently at the Jamaica Pegasus hotel.
“AMCHAM Rewards will be the driving force in 2014 towards setting a new record for chamber membership in AMCHAM Jamaica,” said Ron McKay, one of the newly appointed vice-presidents of AMCHAM Jamaica and CEO of ADS Global and CTICo Limited, a tourism brand satisfaction company operating in Montego Bay.
He said that the loyalty rewards programme has been tailor-made for American Chambers of Commerce throughout the Caribbean and Latin Americas by CTICo Limited, in conjunction with its Global e-Tourism and Profit Support Platform — GoValueDestinations.com.
In order to celebrate the launch of AMCHAMRewards.com, the Chamber presented a commemorative US$50.00 travel gift card to the nearly 300 patrons at the Business and Civic Leadership Awards Gala. All current members will also receive the same US$50.00 gift card for travel and 1-year complimentary basic membership.
CTICo has also developed and customised other loyalty rewards programmes for other clients, including Mystic Mountain/Mystic Ridge, Montego Bay Convention Centre, SADCO, Dunn’s River Falls, Green Grotto Caves, and Pearly Beach. Its objective is to drive brand awareness for all of its clients, which will, in turn, help grow their business models
AMCHAM Jamaica is the first to launch a programme of this kind and to offer its members a lifestyle network of benefits on services and products with significant everyday savings, at home or away.
Benefits of the loyalty rewards programme for AMCHAM, as a chamber, include: retain and increase; AMCHAM membership; engage members with a custom-branded website — AMCHAMRewards.com; increase brand awareness for the chamber; improve chamber experience; and a sustainable long-term revenue stream for the institutions.
Benefits and main features for members include: earn and redeem rewards for purchasing products and services; earn rewards for referring friends and family, co-workers and employees; members-only specials; upload flight itineraries and receive additional reward credits; gift guest passes to customers, friends, family, co-workers and employees; credit redemption and everyday savings on: vacation packages; nightly hotel stays cruises; car rentals; activities and excursions; golf; restaurants.com certificates; wine club memberships. Members can also earn e-gift cards and online and retail shopping discounts.
McKay will be travelling to Washington, DC, this week along with President Derrick Nembhard and Executive Director Becky Stockhausen to the 46th Annual AACCLA Meeting and “Forecast on Latin America and the Caribbean Conference”, to be hosted by the US Chamber of Commerce.
At that conference, AMCHAM Jamaica will be presenting AMCHAM Rewards to over 125 AMCHAMs from all over the Western Hemisphere.
